This is a memorable adventure through Chile’s flourishing Wine Country, a mecca for wine enthusiasts and culture lovers alike.
Perfect climatic conditions of hot summers, cool coastal breezes and gentle rainfalls ensure bountiful grape harvests that create delectable varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Carménère, the emblematic grape of Chile which hails from France and is now exclusive to Chile. Cushioned between the Andes and Coastal Mountains lies the Central Valley where the first vineyards were established in the colonial era. World-class estates are found in 14 principal valley regions; however notable destinations include the Aconcagua, Casablanca, Colchagua, San Antonio-Leyda, Maipo, Cachapoal, Curico and Maule Valleys.

Day 1-2: In the company of a knowledgeable guide, venture to the Colchagua Valley, known for its beautiful, rolling hills planted with modern and traditional vineyards, and charming haciendas that blend in perfectly with the surrounding landscape. The region’s location, ideal climate, the use of state-of-the-art technology, and the tireless creativity of winemakers have truly put Colchagua on the map. Here red wine reign: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carménère, Malbec, and Syrah to name just a few. High-quality wines have won countless international awards, and have been recognised in prestigious wine magazines and publications, making the Colchagua Valley one of the prominent wine-producing areas of the world. Carménère is the most emblematic variety of wine grape of Chilean varietals, flourishing in the ideal climate and terroir of Colchagua and other valleys. Colchagua, however, is not only home to dozens of fine boutique wineries, but also the seat of Chile’s rural culture and traditions, which gives the place a real identity
Day 3 – 4: Discover Santiago at your own pace allowing you to explore the local barrio (neighbourhood)
Day 4 – 7: Experience the thrill of making simple vino Patero wine as you stomp on plump grapes in massive wooden barrels, or directly engage with pioneering winemakers and embark on informative tours around notable wine estates, engaging in the complex and age-old process of wine-making, with a brand new twist. The award-winning wineries nestled in Mendoza are world-renowned. They range from craft estates to breathtaking architectural masterpieces that house the most diverse selection of wines. Situated at the foothills of the Andes, these estates draw food lovers, wine connoisseurs and adventure seekers. The Valle de Uco contains several micro-terroirs, where the characteristic taste and flavour of a particular wine is determined by the environment in which it is produced. This relatively unexplored region has undergone a revival, where a new generation of winemakers has injected the industry with creativity, passion, and technical knowledge that extracts maximum expression from local grape variations. These innovators have built boutique wineries that boldly experiment with pioneering and enterprising ways of implanting vines to cultivate the best grapes and produce limited editions of very specific wines. Food lovers will delight in learning to cook traditional Argentine cuisine in an authentic, winery kitchen, taught by a qualified chef and winemaker.
Day 7: Your final leg of the journey will include a walking tour of Buenos Aires. This city is often compared to European cities like Paris, rightly so in terms of the atmosphere, café culture and architecture in areas such as Belgrano, Recoleta and Palermo. This tour will explore colourful barrios as well as elegant and leafy avenues to give you a taste of this majestic city. Enter the exciting and decadent world of tango and enjoy a lesson at the legendary Rojo Tango, before being spoilt with a professional tango spectacle and lavish three-course dinner, paired with effervescent champagne that releases the rhythm of the tango upon your taste buds.
