Location and transfer
Guests have three options to reach this resort – via shared seaplane transfer, by domestic transfer or by VIP private chartered flight.
SEAPLANE
Niyama Private Islands Maldives sits an exhilarating 40-minute seaplane journey south of Malé. Our airport representative greets you on your arrival at Malé International Airport, where they will assist you with check-in for your seaplane transfer. Soar over rings of islands. Glimpse villages and deserted isles surrounded by crystal-clear waters.
Please note that seaplanes only operate during daylight hours. Guests arriving after 3:30 pm will be transported to the resort the next day. For such arrivals, it is suggested to book an overnight stay near the airport. International departure flights should be scheduled after 9:00 am to guarantee a seamless same-day departure.
Roundtrip transfers are priced at USD 610 per person and subject to a 12% goods & services tax (GST), with 50% off for children up to 11 years old.
DOMESTIC FLIGHT
For an alternative option, guests can take a 30-minute domestic flight from Malé International Airport to the newly opened Dhaalu Airport, followed by a 10-minute speedboat transfer to Niyama. Roundtrip transfers is at USD 400 per adult, subject to 12% GST, with 50% off for children up to 11 years old.
VIP PRIVATE CHARTER FLIGHTS
For discerning travellers desiring the highest levels of privacy and exclusivity. Glimpse the surreal with an arrival via newly launched luxury seaplane charters. These premium aircraft are ideal for couples, families or intimate groups of up to 8 persons.
The charter rate between Malé International Airport and Niyama Private Islands Maldives is USD 8,500 net per way, inclusive of a 10% service charge and 12% goods & services tax (GST).
All transfers booked by the resort include a maximum baggage allowance of 20 kg per passenger (USD 5 per additional kg, subject to 12% GST). Hand luggage should not exceed 20″ x 12″ x 7″ in size or 5 kg in weight. For a smooth trip, please share your arrival and departure flight details with us at least 3 days before your arrival.
Accommodation
Each villa has a secluded deck that offers pure privacy to luxuriate in al fresco rain showers, moonlit dips, or an intimate afternoon basking in the sun. Each room is outfitted with a king bed, Deli-In with full-size refrigerator overflowing with gourmet treats, in-room entertainment system with LED TV, Bose surround sound and a range of international movies, as well as Thakuru (butler) service – for the ultimate luxury.
