DAYS 1-2: Arrive in to Dallas Airport and collect your Premium SUV rental and self-drive to your hotel, the Statler, home for the next two night to acclimatise. The next day, depending on time of year and fixtures, it may be possible to take in a Dallas Cowboys NFL match at AT&T Stadium, or simply explore Dallas at your own pace.

DAY 3: After a leisurely breakfast, continue your journey to Austin, about 3 hours’ drive away. Check in to the Fairmont Hotel Austin and spend the rest of the day exploring independently.

DAY 4: Austin’s food scene is one of the best in the nation and today join an expert guide who will take you all around town indulging on the city’s specialities from place to place. Enjoy a few stops at the famous food trucks, coolest restaurants and one of Austin’s best urban breweries for a craft beer tasting and tour. You’ll even get the chance to meet some of the people that make these foodie establishments tick.

DAY 5: Enjoy breakfast at leisure before driving to your next destination – Houston, about 2.5hrs away. After settling in, meet you driver-guide and set off on a tour of the city. As America’s fourth largest, Houston offers a rich history with cosmopolitan refinement. Your guide will reveal points of interest and share stories about the history and evolution of the city. During your tour, you will get to know the city’s history one beer at a time at 4-5 local pubs where you will have the opportunity to meet locals, sample craft beers and learn more about this fascinating destination.

DAY 6: After breakfast this morning, set off on the drive to New Orleans (5.5 hrs). On arrival, check in at Hotel Monteleone. This evening we recommend cocktails @ Hot Tin Roof Top Bar.

DAY 7: Spend the morning and early afternoon relaxing, then your private guide will meet you for a magical walking tour of Live Music Nightlife. Immerse yourself in true ‘NOLA’ culture with a local who will show you the hottest spots for live music, whether it is traditional jazz, brass band, swing, or all of the above, New Orleans has got it all. A city world-renowned for it’s music, this is your chance to experience it like a local. Check out a couple of clubs or listen to some brass bands playing in the streets as you walk from one venue to the next. Along the way, learn about New Orleans’ musical history and its current impact on the scene. Daylight permitting, head to Congo Square, hallowed grounds for musicians. This tour can be customized to your mood, so if you are feeling hungry or feeling like you want to relax, your guide will accommodate your preferences.

DAY 8: Today you will explore the pristine wilderness outside of New Orleans with a native guide. Board a skiff boat to encounter the unique flora and fauna of Louisiana’s diverse ecosystem, including alligators, turtles, herons, black bears, wild boar, and bald eagles. Your guide will take you deep into the swamp where you will find yourself surrounded by cypress trees draped in Spanish moss. After returning, spend the evening enjoying New Orleans’ unique nightlife independently.

DAY 9: Drive to New Orleans International Airport and return your rental vehicle ahead of your flight home.
