DAY 3: Half-day sightseeing tour with your guide. Visit Kazura Bridge, one of the three most peculiar bridges in Japan. The bridge is covered in hardy kiwi vine and is located in a secluded area of Okuiya. It is believed that this bridge was created by the powerful “Heike clan” about 800 years ago for horseback riding purposes.  Other places of interest are Mount Tsurugi, the Kazura Bridge vine bridges that are suspended high over the Iya-Gawa river gorge and the restored houses of Buke Yashiki and Kimura-Ke. For those looking for a little more excitement, rafting tours are available during the summer months (April – November). Enjoy staying at a thatched-roof farmhouse with dinner made by the locals included.

DAY 4: Transfer to Naruto with your guide.  View the fantastic whirlpools that occur along the coast of Naruto strait, tons of water swirling in beautiful circles splashing their white waves. They are best-viewed form sightseeing cruises that sail right next to these wonders made by nature. Transfer to Kobe and enjoy some time at leisure. Perhaps head to Kobe Harbour Land – one of Kobe’s major attractions and home to some of the city’s best waterfront sights during a night out. Its well-connected network of transport options and lovely views draw crowds of locals and tourists to the area year-round. The biggest shopping complex in the area is Umie, which houses over 225 shops in the three main retail wings, each with its own unique purpose.

DAY 5: Transfer to Osaka for your return flight home.
