Day 1: Arrival at Fez Saiss airport & transfer to your chosen hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 2: Fez Full day The whole day is devoted to the visit of the spiritual capital, the Medieval Medina, Attarine or Bou Anania Medersa, the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum and the outside Karaouine Mosque. Typical lunch (optional) in a traditional restaurant located in the heart of Medina. Afternoon, following the visit of the souks and Fez Jdid. Dinner and accommodation at your hotel
Day 3: Travel to Erfoud today, through the cedar woods of the middle Atlas, passing by Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou, an important handicraft center. Stop in Midelt for lunch (optional). Continuation to Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley dotted with palm trees which are the source for the yearly date festival in Erfoud. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Enjoy a full, free day in Erfoud with optional possibilities to discover the desert: A 4×4 Excursion to Merzouga dunes for sunset or sunrise or with dinner & overnight in bivouac, or to Erfoud & Rissani.
Day 5: Departure to Tinghir via the Tinjdad. Visit of the famous Todra canyons with rocks reaching 250m high. Continue through the Dades canyons for a visit and continuation to Ouarzazate via the 1000 Kasbahs road and the Dades valley, famous for its roses and yearly Moussem (rose festival). Enjoy dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 6: Early morning visit of the Taourirt and Tifeltout Kasbahs. Then continuation to Ait Benhaddou which is the most spectacular fortress in the south of Morocco. Lunch (optional) at the terrace of a restaurant facing the Kasbah. Departure to Marrakech via the Tichka pass (2260m altitude) offering an impressive landscape in the heart of the Atlas mountain chain. Dinner and accommodation in Marrakech.
Day 7: Visit Marrakech, the second oldest Imperial city called “the pearl of the south” with your private guide. The historical sightseeing includes the Menara Garden, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia, and the Dar Si Said Museum. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon, visit of the souks and handicraft quarters, then visit the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square with its non-stop entertainment.
Day 8: Departure transfer to Marrakech airport with assistance provided.
