A Romantic Paris Weekend
2 Nights / 3 Days
- Stay in a landmark hotel in the fashionable St.Germain district
- Explore Paris by classic car with an expert guide
- Learn the art of perfume making and create your own scent
DAY 1: Travel to Paris by your preferred mode of transport, whether Eurostar or direct flight. On arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred by private car to The Lutetia Hotel, an iconic landmark situated in the vibrant Saint-Germain-des-Prés area of Paris and the only luxury grand hotel on the city’s Left Bank. Originally opened in 1910, the building’s design was a daring move from art nouveau to the emerging style of art deco. The Lutetia delivers an authentic Parisian experience and has been at the heart of the local community for more than 100 years. It now features an eclectic mix of restaurants, bars and lounges throughout the historical ground floor including the return of the Lutetia Brasserie under the supervision of three Michelin starred chef Gerald Passedat. Enjoy dinner either in the hotel or in the surrounding area, and overnight.
DAY 2: Explore Parisien culture and landmarks this morning on a privately guided tour in a classic car for 3 hours (choose between Bentley, Jaguar or Rolls-Royce). In the afternoon, get a keen insight into the art of perfume making with Blaise Mautin and take a memento of your weekend home with your own scent creation.
In the evening, dine at leisure, or optionally, perhaps enjoy dinner at Moulin Rouge. Since its creation in 1889, the Moulin Rouge has endeavoured to develop a performance concept, a distinctive imagery and a singular universe that are today recognised worldwide, ensuring its success both in France and abroad.
DAY 3: Today, you may prefer to stroll the streets at your leisure, or perhaps after a leisurely morning, embark on an afternoon lunch cruise. Sail across the Seine on a stunning glass canopy boat and enjoy the breathtaking sights on this 2-hour cruise under the mellow afternoon sun. The glass ceiling boat offers the best panoramic views of iconic monuments of Paris, including the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Musee d’Orsay and many more. In the early afternoon transfer to the station or airport for your return journey home.
Our Suggested Accommodation:
The Lutetia Hotel: In particular, for such a weekend, we recommend the Suite Amour: Before you look at the views it boasts, explore the interior where a sumptuous decor awaits you over two floors. On one side, the bedroom opens onto a private terrace surrounded by a wrought iron balustrade, while in an adjacent room, the large bathroom is adorned with white marble, a designer bathtub hand-carved in a single block of precious Carrara rock. A wooden staircase leads up to an elegant lounge decorated with custom-made furniture and works of art. Nestled at the top, an Art Nouveau inspired secret alcove faces the Eiffel Tower. This balcony with its chiselled ornaments is second to none, at the Lutetia or elsewhere.
